Background

Just south of Denver, Castle Rock is a small but quickly-expanding city steeped in Western heritage. With growth comes challenges as the town works to maintain its values as a small town with character while managing growth.

Approach

Castle Rock continued to use COMENGAGE’s community equity assessment research program and 5-Star Rating Index to enhance its ongoing community research program.

More than 700 residents completed the survey.

More than 400 continued on to take part in online community surveys

On average respondents participated in one to two community survey activities a week.
